I'm not sure what sort of fashion statement I was trying to make back then but you wouldn't catch me eating marshmallows today (how I would love a marshmallow suit though!). Ah, the joys of being a kid. I really love those colored mini-marshmallows.

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement. Today, Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.

Come down to the Blind Pig in Cleveland, Ohio Friday, May 16th to support breast cancer research and survivors with a special performance from Drunk Betty. I will be a guest MC for the event to pump the crowd, raise money for cause and help save the tatas.

The Glam Party presented by Scene magazine for Fashion Week 2008 was quite the event. 19 Action News was present for the On The Spot Makeover. Lucky guests of GLAM party were selected from the crowd and returned to the party with their new glamorous look. As the music played and the wine was poured, models and attendees fancied all sorts of fashions - everything from the latest trends to sweater dresses dating back to the 80's.

I will be in Cleveland this weekend for the Fashion Week Cleveland 2008. I will be wearing fashions from New York City Designer company Days Off Designs, Inc featuring the Random World Designs.

The event is a series of shows, programs and lectures about fashion, spotlighting American designers and the relevance of fashion.

Friday kicks off at La Dolce Vita in Little Italy for the Glam Party presented by Scene Magazine with 19 Action News, makeovers and paparazzo! Saturday night is the unclothed Mixed Media Runway Event at Sammy's in the Flats featuring wearable art in which artists and designers collaborate to present wearable art presentation in a runway extravaganza. A cool, underground, edgy event featuring 20 models, special effects and never before seen creations.

Maybe I'll see you there!
